About Me

Hi my name’s Tim Halloran and I built this website to help struggling affiliate marketers. I started learning about affiliate marketing in around 2010 and made lots of mistakes. I made hundreds of websites and wrote hundreds of articles. I ran adverts and jumped from course to course – also known as shiny object syndrome! I was desperate to earn online and tried pretty much everything.

My results were probably typical of many affiliates – bad! Nothing worked for a long time and slowly but surely I started making sales and seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. In 2014 I joined an affiliate marketing mentorship program which helped me with webinars, mentors and actual live events. Since getting online business mentorship, things dramatically changed for me. I was able to make high ticket sales and earn more reliable income through using recurring income affiliate programs.

This in part was due to following a path and listening to others who had already trodden the path of affiliate marketing. Nothing beats experience in the affiliate world and it’s a tough cookie to crack on your own. With others to help you, and a definite path towards success, things can be a lot easier.

Going it alone is tough because you’re often not sure of the right way to go about it. Unless you try lots of things, you have no experience to draw on to know what steps to take in order to have success. Once you start making sales with affiliate marketing, things get considerably easier because you know what you’ve done to generate sales. But before this point is reached, it’s a very frustrating experience, especially alone!

Before I was an affiliate marketer, I was attempting to build a career as a stunt performer. This, I thought, was the best career in the world! For years through I struggled and had to keep up a number of other part time and temporary jobs in order to keep the money coming in. The stunt work kept me tied to this pattern and by the time I was in my late 30’s, I was still spending most of my time doing jobs I hated, just so I had the free time to take stunt work when it popped up.

I realised I was in a trap, and had to do something to escape it! I looked to the internet and tried various online earning strategies including Forex marketing, eBay buying and selling and even selling my own ebooks. Affiliate marketing seemed very neat because I didn’t need to create my own products, hold items for sale or deal with any customers.

At first though I struggled, but I persisted despite the problems and egged on by one or two online sales. I eventually found a mentorship program and started again from scratch, using a ready made business system and step by step training program.

It was still tough, but I had a strategy for marketing which I enjoyed doing (blogging), and even though progress was slow, there was light at the end of the tunnel.
